I worked eight years to make The Cemil Show and to find money. During this time, I continued to work as an advertising film director and art director. There have been times when I could shoot The Cemil Show with the budget we spent for only one day to shoot a commercial film. Having such an incredibly high condition on the one hand and having impossibilities on the other had a schizophrenic effect on me.

The biggest challenge for me in Gittigidiyor film is creating a high contrast and saturation look with a soft lighting. In these kind of studio commercial people generally use soft and pastelle colors. It sounds frightening to work in this kind of look in the begining. But with a talented Dop and with the trust of agency we could make it.
